Precision Electronics customers are demanding the lowest MTTR, as a pre-requisite for continued business. The customer is demanding increasing uptime of the system installed. A state-of-art "Electronics Repair Center" has been set-up to cater for repair of all the equipments/modules/ sub-systems of the communication/ IT equipment supplied to the customer on a contract basis. We have the capability of repairing telecom equipments such as but not limited to Microwave links, wire-line access products, Power Supplies, Customer Premise Equipment (xDSL modems, converters etc.). Our ability to diagnose faults has often enabled repair of out-of-service 3rd party equipment without support from the OEM. The PEL Repair center is equipped with: - Engineers and technicians specially trained for fault analysis
- Repair station that can service a wide variety of electronics devices in Communications/ IT domain
- Test instruments such as flying probe tester that have been programmed for all the assemblies sold to the customers
- Jigs and fixtures designed for testing the repaired module
- Burn-in chamber to verify the repaired units
- Environment chamber for repair quality validation testing
- After successful completion of the warranty service, a service support model is designed that is most efficient for the user and guarantees the uptime desired
- Engagement could be on AMC basis or on a "Window Exchange" basis wherein a faulty assembly/card is replaced with a working one across the window
- Engineers and technicians are trained by the OEM partner if the systems are sourced under technology agreement
- We are committed to provide life time service support. PEL monitors the component obsolescence closely. Stocks are suitably maintained and in some cases boards/ systems are redesigned for upgrades in-situ
- We are equipped to repair the legacy out-of-service equipments that are being used by our defense and civil customers
