PEL’s high reliability designs are capable of handling a wide range of AC voltage, i.e. 90 – 300VAC and provide adequate N+1 standby protection on the output side. We can cater for simultaneous battery charging capability Design and development of Power Supply with distribution for simultaneous AC and DC voltage output for telecom equipment rack Re-design of COTS power supply units to Military specs Design and development of Power Conditioning Unit for vehicular shelters (Command Post, Communication node, ICV, etc.) Design of Power distribution panel, power LTB, inter Rack and shelter wiring using MIL / JSS55555 grade PTFE wire for power distribution. Electro-Mechanical Engineering: PEL has extensive capabilities to undertake detailed Mechanical Design modelling using 3D – CAD/ CAM tools; Mechanical Analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools for various mechanical, environmental and EMI/ EMC stresses; and final design validation upon actual lab testing. Additionally, we have capabilities in material selection, material treatment and assembly. PEL applies these strengths to the design and implementation of:
MIL-spec equipment enclosures for COTS and Military IT systems: PEL has designed enclosures to cater to various requirements such as JSS-55555, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461C, tamper-proofing, etc Ruggedized equipment racks for transportation of COTS/ MIL equipment in tactical military vehicles. Cable harnessing for single equipment enclosures, equipment racks and also for complete tactical vehicle containers Telescopic Masts: Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electro-Mechanical driving assemblies for various head loads and heights for tactical and strategic requirements Manual antenna mounting assembly with tilter arrangement to move antenna in the vertical axis Motorized antenna positioner assembly with azimuth and elevation control 3-axis stabilized antenna assembly
Validation and Verification: Precision Electronics has extensive in-house capabilities for Design Validation and Test as well as for System Validation and Verification as per Military and Industrial standards for environmental and EMI/ EMC conditions. These facilities are backed by a team of highly experienced Systems Engineers.
Infrastructure Capability: State-of-art packages to perform thermal and signal integrity analysis at PCB level and perform PCB re-layout of COTS modules if necessary Structural, stress & thermal analysis using SolidWorks/ COSMOS FEA tools Temperature chamber to perform complete system-level thermal testing against MIL-STD-810/ JSS55555. Temperature Range: -30°C to +80°C and RH up to 95% Bounce machine – Pre-compliance set up for in house testing of bounce tests Vibration table – Pre-compliance set up for in house testing of 3-axis vibration (sinusoidal, random) and bump tests EMI/ EMC setup – Pre-compliance set up for in house testing of RE & CE levels
